Through the thoughtfulness & generosity of two United Way supporters – Dick Laude & Marti McDannel, we’re hosting a quilt raffle. The quilt was made by Marti to honor Dick’s on-going kindness and good works.
This beautiful piece measures 72 by 101 inches; it’s a long queen designed to cover the bed pillows eliminating the need for shams. It’s a Bargello pattern in batik fabrics and has an appraised value of more than $1,200.
Tickets are being sold throughout the summer and are $5 for 1 or $20 for 5. They are available at the Seneca Museum and Sinicropi Florist. Volunteers will also be selling them at Canal Days and Empire Farm Days. Only 1,500 tickets are being sold.
The drawing takes place on September 21, 2016 at the Chamber’s September Business after Hours.
